Evening session (4:30pm till dusk only) 6hrs max

Best bait and tactics

Standard float fishing and ledgering techniques work well on the Iona Bait Pool all year round. Worm, maggot and sweetcorn or Power Bait can all be used to terrific effect. Favourite tactics lately have been a maximum of a 1& 1/2ft dropper from a float with worm  or extra strong Power Bait.
